Ethiopian Guji Dark

$10.50$12.50

We roast Ethiopian Guji to a full city roast, just up to second crack, making this just barely a dark roast coffee.  We think that this gives you a bold coffee but preserves the underlying flavors of an natural processed Ethiopian.  As always we roast a little slower to make sure the coffee is smooth all the way through.  Hints of red berries and stone fruits shine through. Want it roasted a little darker?  Select French Roast below.  While you might not be able to pick out the fruit flavors, the French roast gives deeper chocolate notes as well as imparting a subtle smokiness while still having a smooth finish.

Description

Grown in Ethiopia, the fabled birth place of coffee, this bean is natural processed, which means it is allowed to dry with the fruit still on the bean.  This imparts an abundance of fruit flavors to the coffee as well as enhancing the sweetness.  Ethiopian coffees are highly prized and are considered to be some of the best coffees in the world.

Smooth and rich with a pleasant finish.

I recently gave a gift of the Ethiopian Guiji Dark to a Keurig user. She stated that, “I have ruined her after her introduction to Westminster Street Coffee.”

Delightful

For an amazing and relaxing cup of Joe you barely need to add anything to it. Incredible difference from other brands specifically in the fact that it does not have a trace of unpleasant bitterness. It has a very rich and pure coffee flavor too. I personally like to add a pinch of half n half to my coffee but with this brand I barley need any (though I still like a little in it because it adds to it). Highly recommend this coffee, any average coffee enjoyer would instantly appreciate the quality.

All about the Guji

I got a shipment of the Ethiopian Guji a couple weeks ago…it’s my go to coffee. I must’ve ordered it a couple dozen times. I love that every time I order it, it’s consistently the same full body roast.

Tastes perfect as-is

I’ve been drinking the Guji for a while now and love the bold flavor. I had a family brunch today and the best, and truthful, comment was “It tastes perfect as-is. You know it’s good coffee because I didn’t need to put any sweetener in it!”
